Program overview
The Bachelor of Pharmacy Program (Revised Curriculum, B.E. 2566) has been revised in alignment with the four principal missions of Silpakorn University, namely:
1) Producing graduates to develop human resource potential by creating learning experiences through a creative environment and innovative learning;
2) Conducting research to create knowledge, innovations, and creative works for sustainable social development;
3) Providing academic services to strengthen society and promote its well-being;
4) Serving as the national center of knowledge for the preservation and promotion of arts and culture, in accordance with Silpakorn University’s aspiration: “Creating art, knowledge, and wisdom for society,” and the University’s educational philosophy, which emphasizes the provision of education that enables learners to achieve learning outcomes
with graduates serving as leaders who integrate the sciences and the arts and create value for society. The Faculty of Pharmacy, Silpakorn University, is a leading faculty dedicated to creating innovations in healthcare. Accordingly, the Program focuses on producing pharmacy graduates who demonstrate academic excellence, morality, and ethics; respond to the needs of society; and are recognized internationally; developing research; providing academic services to communities and society; generating income; establishing collaborative networks with organizations in Thailand and abroad; preserving and promoting arts and culture; and becoming a leading national organization of wisdom in pharmaceutical sciences, under organizational administration based on good governance. This is consistent with the Faculty’s vision of becoming “an organization of excellence in education and the creation of precision pharmaceutical sciences innovations for sustainable societal well-being.”

Philosophy
The programme aims to produce graduates with professional competencies in accordance with the standard criteria for pharmacy practitioners.
They shall possess morality and ethics in professional practice, and the programme aims to produce graduates in accordance with the Faculty’s philosophy: “Integrity,
integrating sciences and arts to create society” Creating society.”
Objectives of the Programme To produce graduates with the following characteristics:
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of various arts and sciences, befitting a good pharmacist who is imbued with virtue, adheres firmly to professional ethics, maintains good human relations, is responsible to their organisation, society, and country, and is able to apply knowledge in both professional and non-professional fields to provide effective healthcare services to the public.
- Possess the professional skills necessary for work, including the ability to apply information technology appropriately.
- Possess knowledge and understanding of the country’s public health problems, and recognise the role of pharmacists in contributing to the resolution of those problems.
- Be able to analyse and improve their work and solve problems creatively and appropriately for the circumstances; possess communication skills; and be able to work with others and with multidisciplinary professionals, both as leaders and as team members.
- Understand that “the pharmacy profession” is a profession that requires continuous learning and study throughout life, and be able to continue pursuing lifelong learning independently.
- Understand the need to develop both their own quality and that of the profession, including the integration of various disciplines, so as to practise pharmacy in accordance with the professional standards of each field and in line with future directions or development trends.

Study format
Education is organized under a semester system, with one academic year divided into two regular semesters. Each regular semester comprises a study period of no less than 15 weeks. Various requirements shall comply with the Ministry of Education’s Notification on the Criteria for Undergraduate Curriculum Standards, B.E. 2558, and/or any subsequent amendments.

Round 2: Quota applicants are those currently studying in the final year of an upper-secondary education programme or another certificate deemed equivalent by the Ministry of Education, at educational institutions in 28 provinces and Bangkok, namely Bangkok, Kanchanaburi, Chanthaburi, Chachoengsao, Chon Buri, Chai Nat, Chumphon, Trat, Nakhon Nayok, Nakhon Pathom, Nonthaburi, Pathum Thani, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Prachin Buri, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Phetchaburi, Ranong, Rayong, Ratchaburi, Lop Buri, Samut Prakan, Samut Songkhram, Samut Sakhon, Sa Kaeo, Saraburi, Sing Buri, Suphan Buri, Ang Thong, and Uthai Thani, and who have been studying continuously for a period of no less than 1 year.
