งานวิจัยในอนาคต
- การทำงานเครือข่ายแบบบูรณาการของโครงการจัดตั้งห้องปฏิบัติการทดสอบหมวกนิรภัย โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์ 4 ข้อหลัก ดังนี้
- การจัดทำการทดสอบหมวกนิรภัยที่จำหน่ายในท้องตลาดในเชิงรุกว่าเข้าเกณฑ์มาตรฐานในการคุ้มครองความปลอกภัยของผู้บริโภคหรือไม่ และรายงานให้ผู้บริโภคทราบในรูปแบบ Consumer report
- ทดสอบหมวกนิรภัยที่ผู้ขับขี่หรือผู้โดยสารรถจักรยานต์ใช้และประสบอุบัติเหตุว่าหมวกนิรภัยดังกล่าวเข้าข่ายมาตรฐานด้านความปลอดภัย หรือไม่ ในการที่จะให้เกิดธรรมภิบาลต่อผู้ใช้ผลิตภัณฑ์
- เพื่อวางแนวทางในการพัฒนาหมวกนิรภัยชนิดน้ำหนักเบาที่มีความสามารถให้ความคุ้มครองต่อผู้บริโภคในระดับสากลและมีราคาที่ เหมาะสมกับภาวะเศรษฐกิจของบุคคลในปัจจุบัน
- ดำเนินการจัดระบบฐานข้อมูลใหม่อย่างเป็นระบบให้เป็นไปในลักษณะเอกภาพเพื่อให้ครอบคลุมถึงปัจจัยต่างๆ พบจริง ทั้งปัจจัยด้านบุคคลยานพาหนะและสิ่งแวดล้อมเพื่อวางแนวทางในการลดจำนวนอุบัติเหตุรถจักรยานยนต์
- โครงการวิจัยการผลิตเพคติน (pectin) จากเปลือกส้มโอและการประยุกต์ใช้ในอุตสาหกรรมยาโดยทำการศึกษาโครงสร้างและการดัดแปลง โครงสร้างทางเคมีของเพคตินที่สกัดได้ซึ่งจัดเป็นการวิจัย และพัฒนาวัสดุเหลือใช้ให้เกิดประโยชน์สูงสุด สามารถทดแทนการนำเข้าของสารดังกล่าว
