Program Master of Pharmacy Program in Clinical Pharmacy
Philosophy This program aims to produce the academics who have an ability in clinical pharmacy practise together with research capability in order to developing clinical pharmacy practise. It also aims to produce pharmacy professional leaders that enhance professional development which also rely on morality and ethics in professional practice.
Objective
  • 1) To produce graduates who are able to apply the knowledge and skill gained from the education and professional practise in the course, they are able to apply these to professional practise and enhance clinical pharmacy effectively.
  • 2) To produc graduates who are able plan and conduct a research by using scientific method so as to create a new knowledge and innovation in clinical pharmacy and this leads to the development of clinical pharmacy practise in accordance with the national policy.
  • 3) 3 To produce graduates to being a leader which have an innovative idea and also have morality, ethics and professional ethics in conducting research and professional practice.
The aim of the course
  • 1) Produce graduates to create research works in order to obtain knowledge of clinical pharmaceuticals and pharmaceutical care.
  • 2) Produce graduates who can apply knowledge Clinical Pharmacy in the development of communities and society.
  • 3) Produce graduates that can solve systematic problems.
  • 4) To develop graduates in leadership to be initiative, creativity, morality, ethics, and research ethics and professional ethics.
  • 5) Produce graduates with knowledge to keep up with the changes.




Qualifications of Applicants


  • 1) For Plan A Type A 1

    • 1) The applicants must have completed a Bachelor’s of pharmacy or equivalent
      2) Have a cumulative of grade point average (GPA) not less than 2.75 Or have an experience in clinical pharmacy practise and research in the field of pharmacy. The publication must be published and must not be must not be a part of the research for undergraduate degree.
      3) Have other qualifications which will be justified by Faculty committees.
      4) Comply with all the qualifications specified in the regulation of Silpakorn University on graduate studies in B.C.2550 and/or with subsequent changes.

  • 2) For Plan A Type A 2

    • 1) GThe applicants must have completed a Bachelor’s of pharmacy or equivalent
      2) Have a cumulative of grade point average 2.50 or Have a working experience in the field of pharmacy not less than one year
      3) Have other qualifications which will be justified by Faculty committees
      4) Comply with all the qualifications specified in the regulation of Silpakorn University on graduate studies in B.C.2550 and/or with subsequent changes





Course structure


1) Plan A1 consists of

Core subjects (No credit being counted) 4 Credits
Thesis (equivalent to) 36 Credits

2) Plan A Type A 2

Core subjects 14 Credits
Elective subjects not less than 6 Credits
Thesis (equivalent to) 16 Credits




Teaching Management


Teaching and Learning activities Teaching and learning activities are held on an official date and time.
Length of study 2-year program
Teaching and learning facilities Teaching and learning are held at Faculty of Pharmacy, Silpakorn University Sanam Chandra Palace Campus and clinical pharmacy workshop in accordance with the clinical pharmacy development program under four universities collaboration. This includes the clinical pharmacy practise facility that approved by the committees of the clinical pharmacy development program under four universities collaboration.




Careers that can be assembled after graduation


  • 1) Working as a professiona pharmist in hospital and in the community pharmacy
    2)Lecturer and researcher in the field of clinical pharmacy
